Your Right of Cancellation.

Should you receive your purchase and decide that you no longer require the goods for whatever reason, goods can then be returned within 14 working days of your receipt.

To return the goods, please contact The Devon Homes Company on 0800 684 684 or email customercare@thedevonhomecompany.co.uk to arrange details of collection or return.  Statutory rights apply.

On receipt of goods, you will receive a full refund (including delivering costs) within 14 days of you notifying The Devon Home Company that you no longer require the goods. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged until they are returned to us at your cost.  All items should be returned unused and in their original packaging. 

NB Consumable products including vacuum bags, cleaning products etc should be returned unused and unopened

Collections service

If you would like us to pick up your goods we provide a collection service. Your items are picked up by DPD on a date of your choosing.

Mainland UK delivery (excluding the Highlands of Scotland):

Charged at £9.95 per item.

Highlands of Scotland and British Islands:

Charged at £24.95 per item.

If you decide to use our collection service the above charges would be deducted from any refund issued.

If you’re buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free.

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items when purchasing a new item from us. Please speak to a member of staff for details on how to dispose of your Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed‐out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
